Alexandra Maria Lara has been a Romanian/German television and film actress for a long time. Alexandra is famous for her roles in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Born the only child to Romanian actress Valentin Platareu, Alexandra began her career in show business from a young age. At the age of 16, she turned 16years old, Alexandra was able to land prominent roles in a variety of TV dramas. After her critically acclaimed role in the television film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went into other notable parts, including Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudljunge as well as the secretary of Adolf Hitler in Downfall. The film was nominated for an Oscar and received critical and commercial success. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films featuring the actress. Alexandra's professional career has included participate in several notable international and national projects. Among others, these projects comprise British biographical film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. The actress also served on the jury at the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
