Bea's career began in the year 2011 when she began her career as a comic after appearing in small roles for Irish and British TV series starting in 2009. The year 2012 saw her begin to appear regularly on sitcoms and sketch shows. In 2012, following her won an award at Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) in 2012, she began appearing regularly in various panel programs. In 2016, and in 2017, she was a team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. She is also a contestant of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she is the mother of one sibling named Sinead. She was the only female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny in 2012. Bea is her maiden name in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Claiodhnadhs Sullivan was born 16 March 1984 from Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian took his life at age three. He was an equine veterinarian. Bea wasn't told the details of how he passed away until she turned 13. Bea adopted the stage name Bea to pay tribute to her father. She published an article in The Guardian in 2017 about the suicide of her family members. Bea along with her younger sister Sinead were raised by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) who was a secondary school teacher, jockey trainer, and professional jockey for a time. The family was obsessed with racing and horses. Bea started out as an official guide for tourists at the Irish National Stud. But she soon realized that her love was acting, not racing.
